Hydrolate Azahar Bio 250 Oral ml.- Terpenic

Hydrolate is the water obtained from the steam distillation of the flowers Citrus aurantium amara.

Called also Neroli in honor of a noble of the population of Nerola (Italy) who felt passion for the fragrance of the essential oil of the flowers the Yellow Orange (Azahar) coming to mark trend among the high society of the time.

Before this it was already very appreciated by the Arab noble of Al-andalus forming the main part of the decoration of the famous gardens of its palaces bringing the sweet and intense fragrance of its aroma and also by its place its influence in Spanish gastronomy.

Characteristic properties

Hydrolates containn all the hydrosoluble substances of the destilled part and also contains the oligoelements that appear in the plant of origin.

Aspect: clear transparent colorless without grums or filaments.

The pH is 3.5 to 6.2.It contains a mild percentage of Linalol, Limonene, Betapinen, Transbeta-Ocimen, Trans-Farnesol, Nerolidol (less than 2%).

Because of these almost homeopathic concentrations it is a preferred option in pediatrics, pregnancy and breastfeeding in the world of therapeutics.

Uses and Applications

Oral use

The kitchen is one of the uses of hydrolate.We will always be able to add it to our guises taking into account that above 150oC hydrolate properties will be lost.

A taste and flavor pleasant for consumption and even introduced in traditional cooking recipes such as roscones and biscuits. 

Psycho-emotional therapy

It brings a sense of calm and peace. It is indicated in states of shock, sadness, professional wear, chronic fatigue, insomnia, coadyuvant in hypertension, menstrual disorders, menopause.
