Ways of using essential oils

There are different ways of using essential oils depending on the pathology to be treated and the area of the disease anatomy where we want to apply them.

Massage / Diluted application

The essential oil must be dissolved in a base or carrier. Normally a vegetable oil or a neutral cream free of paraffins. We recommend any of our EVO line

Bathroom: Previously emulsify 8-10 drops of essential oil in a glass with soy lecithin or whole milk and add it to the bath. It should be remembered that aEs do not dissolve in water.

Local toilets Add 4-5 drops in hot water for sitz baths, washes genitals, foot baths etc

Vaporization 3-4 drops into the receptacle of the vaporizer/humidifier

Inhalations: Put 2-3 drops in a container with boiling water (vahos) or use over the boil another container of the same size and keep it at water bath. When inhaling, keep your eyes closed to avoid possible irritation

Compresses: Add 2-4 drops in cold or hot water. Dip a cloth of thread, drain later and apply on the area to be treated, repeating the process as many times as necessary

Direct local application Apply 1 drop on the area to be treated, especially taking into account that there are essential oils that are irritating and dermocaustic

Rinses and touches in the mouth: Put 1-2 drops in a glass of lukewarm water to rinse and gargles. For touches in the mouth, put 1 drop on a cotton swab cotton. Do not rinse afterwards

Hair wash Add 1-2 drops to the dose of the shampoo

Hair rinse Once the hair has been rinsed, put 2-3 drops in the hand, apply on scrub, let stand 3 minutes and rinse slightly

Child dosage: For children's doses and as a general rule, reduce by half the normal dose in both massage and bath. Avoid inhalations direct

Orally: The oral route is highly effective in various pathologies, but it can only be be prescribed by physicians (doctors or pharmacists), since the essential oils are very potent substances and can cause serious side effects. The dosage in the oral case varies according to function of the ae, the age of the patient and the severity of the pathology to treat. We suggest that any oral treatment be supervised by a professional.
